Swansea's Spanish striker Michu does not appear to be in line to make a return to the Swansea side for this Thursday's trip to Napoli in the Uefa Cup.
Michu hasn't played since he had ankle surgery at the end of 2013. His last game was a 1-1 draw with Chris Hughton's Norwich City. It is believed though that the front man who scored 22 goals last season, is in line for an imminent return.
Welsh full-back Ben Davies missed Sunday's defeat at Anfield to Liverpool but is expected to feature.
Last Thursdays first leg in Swansea ended in a 0-0 draw.
Napoli and former Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez is also believed to be under pressure after his side endured a dour 0-0 draw with Genoa in last weekends Serie A fixture.
Benitez has defended his position saying: "The president understands that Napoli are where it was last year with a final to play. It has been a good season but if we analyse everything. It could have been better. This is not to say it is going badly. At the start of the season, we did too well and everyone was expecting the same.
"But put together our positions in Serie A, the Europa League and Coppa Italia Final all point to a positive campaign. For now I am not thinking about Champions League qualification. I am busy not worried. I have to prepare the team and manage the squad. We were lacking a bit of experience in these games."
On the task ahead with Swansea the Spaniard said: "I saw the game against Liverpool. "They have a squad strong enough to play with intensity also at the San Paolo."
