Would you still be my fan if I looked like this?

That's the question the Wolfsburg winger brings to the table when he uploaded a modified picture of himself to his personal Instagram account, in which he resembles a person with Down Syndrome.

However strange this might seem, the reason behind it is quite simple. The 23-year-old Belgian international is an ambassador for the 2014 Special Olympics that will take place in Antwerp.

Since the games will be played in his country, the former Chelsea player took the matter more to heart, as he followed his confusing initial post with the same picture but this time, revealing himself as an official ambassador of the tournament. This picture was followed with a noble message that read,

"I hope you all come to see the Special Olympic Games. Because every great performance deserves a great audience. Proud to be one of the ambassadors."

Was the player's techniques to raise awareness on these games the right one? Comment below!
