Eintracht Frankfurt have secured the services of Nelson Valdez, marking the Paraguayan's return to the Bundesliga.
Valdez, a former player for both Borussia Dortmund and Werder Bremen, will be reunited with his old manager Thomas Schaaf from their time at Bremen together. This time, however, the two will be working to make Eintracht Frankfurt a successful team in the Bundesliga.
Valdez has 36 goals in 193 matches in the Bundesliga and is best known for his ferocious workrate. This is a trait that Schaaf will surly be hoping to introduce at Frankfurt in order to keep the club stable in Germany's top division.
Before returning to Germany, Valdez had stints in Spain, Russia, Abu Dhabi and Greece. The young Paraguayan will surely be pleased to unite with his old coach, and more importantly be back in the Bundesliga where he found the most success in his career.
