Liga MX AP2014 Week 7: Must watch games & TV listing
América 1-3 Pumas

Week 7 of the Liga MX will have several high profile matches including the 'Big Four' facing each other. Here are the three must watch of this weekend.

Club America vs Pumas UNAM - Saturday August 30th 6:00pm EST / 3:00pm PST

TV: Univision and Univision Deportes Network

The hosts America will be the clear favorites in this one; they sit at the top of the league table undefeated after six games with 5 wins and one draw while Pumas reside third from bottom with 4 points from six games.  The Aguilas have the highest scoring offense and will be looking to avenge the 3-1 loss at home from last season at the hands of Pumas. Last weekend they drew nil-nil at Chiapas FC; result that took away their perfect record but kept them undefeated.

Pumas on the other hand are coming off of a 1-1 draw at home against Tijuana Xolos. The draw saw Pumas kill a four game losing streak and allowed incoming manager Guillermo Vazquez Jr to debut with a point. Vazquez Jr. Takes over for the second time as Pumas manager having already led them to a league title in 2011.

Chivas vs Cruz Azul - Sunday August 31st 6:00pm EST / 3:00pm PST

TV: Unimas and Univision Deportes Network

While both sides are not having spectacular seasons and even are struggling at the moment, anytime top four teams meet it is a can't miss affair.

Chivas put an end to a five game losing streak in all competitions including friendlies in the US with their 0-0'draw away to Veracruz. Their problem is still scoring goals, they have only scored two goals all season and they have both been Fernando Arce free kicks; the last one coming in their Week 2 0-1 win over Pumas. Once Omar Bravo, Aldo de Nigris, and Carlos Fierro start finding the back of the net Chivas will start brining in the points to allow them to get clear of relegation zone.

The visiting Cruz Azul may not have relegation problems but they have had an unusually slow start to the season. After completely dominating the league last season during the regular stage, one expected Cruz Azul to improve or at least keep the high level of play. Despite the struggle, Cruz Azul were able to get the three points last weekend with their 2-1 win over Queretaro. The win takes off a little of the pressure off following a week where they lost 3-1 to Monterrey in league play and 1-0 to Panama's Chorrillo FC in CONCACAF Champions League. They'll look to take the slight confidence boost and get an important win on the road against a vulnerable Chivas.

Atlas vs Santos - Saturday August 30th 10:00pm EST / 7:00pm PST

TV: Univision Deportes Network

Up until last weekend's 3-1 loss to Pachuca; Atlas had an undefeated run in the league and had occupied the second place in the standings. Now they sit in third tied in points with second place Monterrey. The 'rojinegros' will look to redeem themselves in front of their fans and solidify the good start to the season they had.

In front of them is a powerful Santos team that is starting to pick up steam. They have left behind the slow start to the season and are now on a two game winning streak. Two weeks ago Santos were in Guadalajara beating Chivas, and followed it up with a 3-0 win over Toluca. They will now be looking for a second win in Guadalajara in three weeks.
