Mexican National Team manager Miguel "Piojo" Herrera mentioned on Thursday that the team's objective was to win the World Cup. "If we are not here to win the World Cup , then why are we here?" The manager clearly comes in with a winning mentality, and expects his players to do the same.

But at least one player in the 23-man squad doesn't buy into the optimism of "El Piojo" according to Mexican newspaper Cancha. Jose de Jesus Corona - the Cruz Azul goalkeeper who held an intense battle with Guillermo Ochoa for the starting spot - doesn't see himself in Brazil during the final; he has made plans to marry Hermelinda Rivas on July 11th in the state of Jalisco; two days before the World Cup final is played. Cancha was able to find the official wedding announcement.

As much emphasis as Herrera has put into the "winning mentality" this incident could have very well played a role in the final decision to give Guillermo Ochoa the starting spot instead of Corona.
