Add Portugal to the list of teams that have chosen the US as a pre-World Cup camp.  On Wednesday, Relevent Sports as well as the New York Jets announced that they will host one of the USMNT's opponents in the group stage of the World Cup.

Portugal will be in training at the Jets state-of-the-art Florham Park complex from June 3-9 as they will be playing against Mexico in Foxborough, Mass.  and Ireland in East Rutherford, NJ during that  period.

This will also be a great opportunity for fans to be able to interact with the national team as well as the Jets as they get ready for their pre-season training camp.  The Jets organization will also publish exclusive content of both teams sharing the thought on the Beautiful Game and gridiron football on the team's official website.

"I'm very happy with the conditions we'll have at our disposal in the United States. I've visited the NY Jets training center and I could see that pitches are very good," said national team coach Paulo Bento.  "The overall quality of the facilities we'll use is of the highest standards so we'll have everything we need to prepare our team for the World Cup.”

Portugal begin their World Cup participation in Salvador when they face Germany on June 16th, then play Jürgen Klinsmann's men in Manaus on June 22nd.  They will conclude the group stage with Ghana in Brasilia four days later.
