AS Monaco After Carlos Tévez and Patrice Evra
After securing Radamel Falcao and practically stealing him away from Chelsea, AS Monaco has bigger and greater plans for their first season back in the French Ligue 1. The club contemplates having a world class attack and is planning to sign Carlos Tévez to tag along with Falcao up front. Offense is not everything in soccer, so the French club is interested in repatriating Manchester United's Patrice Evra, who played for Monaco prior to his move to Old Trafford in 2006.
Monaco's billionaire owner, Dmitry Rybolovlev, also wants to sign former Red Devil, Park Ji-Sung, thus reuniting three players that once shared the locker room at Manchester United and who together won the 2008 Champions League. If Monaco does manage to sign all four players, they will have a strong base in all three lines to build around for next season. With PSG already winning their first title in 19 years based on a high spending roster, Monaco hope that they can emulate PSG's success with the same money-based formula.
It is said that Tévez, Evra, and Park were great friends in their days at Old Trafford so they would all be happy to be reunited, specially in a city as spectacular as Monaco.
