Chivas of Guadalajara owner Jorge Vergara, made a public statement in which he reveals a new improved counter offer from Bundesliga club VfB Stuttgart for the services of Mexican midfielder Marco Fabian.

Having confirmed that the first offer was not good enough to let Marco Fabian fulfill his dream of playing in Europe last Thursday,  apparently the tide has shifted in favor of both the player and the Mexican club. Vergara explained to  EPN on the show 'Raza Deportiva' that the new counter offer that Chivas received this morning is much better than the first offer Stuttgart had made.

"A new offer came in this morning. I can't say much about it now, we will have a meeting over this later today. The counter offer is much better, if it wasn't, we wouldn't be seriously considering it."said the Chivas owner, who still posses the ownership of Fabian's contract.

Vergara cleared the air by saying that Chivas are doing their best in order to get Marco Fabian to show-off his talent in Europe and said that this matter is a top priority for all of them.

"We are agreeing to some demands because we wan't Marco to leave this summer. The second offer arrived just ten minutes ago and we are about to respond.", finished Vergara.

Of course there is also the current standing agreement that Chivas with Cruz Azul, club with who Marco Fabian is currently on-loan at  now and still has a contract until December 31st.

However, according to reports in Germany, Marco Fabian looks set to be the next Mexican to play in the Bundesliga and will try to follow former Mexican International Pavel Pardo's footsteps by becoming a key piece for the German club's starting eleven.
