Mexican International striker Alan Pulido has been sent to second division after being separated from the Tigres' first-team squad.

After being nowhere to be found in the club's training this Friday, Tigres confirmed that Pulido will be joining club's reserve team-Tigres B- for an undefined period of time. The 23-year has yet to see a single minute of action in the recently started Apertura 2014 season; having been discarded for their Week 1 match against Atlas.

Pulido was a surprise call-up to join the Mexican national after riding a wave of impressive performances in the Clausura 2014, ultimately ending with a spot in Mexico's 23-man squad in the 2014 World Cup.

Despite not playing a single minute in Brazil, Pulido had been dragging the interest of a few European clubs; primarily Greece's Olympiakos, who reportedly tried to negotiate with Tigres before the start of the World Cup.

Demanding either a better contract or his move to Europe, the relationship between Pulido, his agent, promoter, and the Tigres' board has appeared to taken it's toll as the club have sanctioned the striker to train with the reserves in second-division until further notice.
