Liga MX Radar: Dark Chapter in Mexican Soccer by Salvador Borboa
  1. With week twelve of Liga MX now over, many headlines around the league have emerged.

Monarcas and Santos entertaining match up, America's struggles against Veracruz. Queretaro, Atlante and Monterrey's shocking win against their respective teams, Leon's fatigue and all the other headlines this week have unfortunately been downplayed following the off-field incidents that occurred during the weekend.

A shameful and embarrassing brawl broke out in the Estadio Jalisco during the Tapatio Derby between Atlas and Chivas, and racist chants were heard during Leon's match against a visiting Cruz Azul have put a smudge on Mexican football, a week before the biggest match in the country takes place.
