Hector Moreno could be making a move to the English Premier League - that is, if scouts who saw his performance with Espanyol in Copa del Rey are serious about bringing him to Arsenal.

According to a report in the Daily MailArsenal scout Brian McDermott was present at Espanyol's game against Valencia on Tuesday and was impressed with his performance.

The 26 year old Mexican international  is just coming back off a broken leg sustained during Mexico's World Cup campaign, and reportedly has garnered interest from other clubs as well, but could be a key figure in Arsenal's quest to bulk up their defensive efforts.

Moreno has been injury-prone since 2013, having suffered a thigh muscle strain, a back injury, a hamstring injury, and his most-recent broken shinbone which kept him out of commission since the end of June 2014. Still, his adjustment back into Espanyol's squad has been a steady and solid one and he looks poised to bounce back to consistent full form.
