Marc-Andre Ter Stegen refused to make any comment about the punishment handed down to Barcelona by FIFA today which could affect his transfer to the club. All he would say is he will be leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of the current season.
"I have not heard anything about it; all I know is I will leave Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of the season", the German keeper told German paper 'Express'.
Gerd von Bruch, an advisor to the player, was not worried about the news and said that there were many legal details still to be sorted out before the matter could be considered closed.
"I don't know if the decision applies to future signings or also transfers that have already been closed", von Bruch admitted.
