Sacramento Republic FC's Predrag Radosavljevic or 'Preki', may be only starting his second year as head coach for the northern California USL-Pro team, but the former USMNT member has his sights set high; specially after the recent Miami stadium drama.
"I know we can go to the MLS. I know we're ready, the club is ready on all fronts. We have a decent team and we wouldn't be scared to go and play in the MLS with the addition of a few players" said Preki during a recent sit down interview with Soccerly during the All-Star game in Portland.
Asked if Sacramento would be ready in case Miami can't lock down a downtown stadium, Preki is confident the club can take their place in the expansion team waiting list: "Sacramento is really ready. If Miami messes up we're right around the corner. We're waiting and we're ready".
