It was an entertaining match between Real Sociedad and Villarreal in the Copa del Rey, where Villarreal advanced via an aggregate scoreline of 3-2 despite the 2-2 draw.

Mexico teammates Giovani dos Santos and Carlos Vela each nabbed a goal and an assist for their sides -- Dos Santos teed up Gerard Martinez for the opener after  26 minutes, and Vela netted just before half-time when he smashed home a rebound from close range.

Dos Santos was at it again but this time he finished a ball just 17 minutes from time to put the visitors ahead 2-1.  Sociedad responded via Esteban Granero off a pass from Vela to tie things up, just before an angry David Moyes was shown a red card and sent into the stands for protesting heavily at the referee's assistant.

Villarreal advance and will face Getafe in the final eight as Alvaro Vazquez's goal afforded them a 2-1 aggregate win over Almeria.

Below are vines of all goals between Sociedad and Villarreal.

Sociedad 0-1 Villarreal  (goal Martinez, assist Dos santos)

Sociedad 1-1 Villarreal (Goal Vela)

Soceidad 1-2 Villarreal (goal dos santos)

sociedad 2-2 villarreal (goal granero, assist vela)
