Getafe coach, Luis Garcia revealed at today's press conference that defender, Alexis Ruano, had to leave the field during his team's Copa del Rey match against FC Barcelona (0-2) due to testicular inflammation.

The Spanish coach provided details of his player's injury in response to questions from the media, providing an account of the ailment which he said he had never seen before during his time in soccer.

"One of Alexis's testicles was like this" he said, holding up his hands to show a handball-sized ball. "He has broken some veins. It's nothing serious. The swelling has already gone down, he should be fine for Sunday. I was shocked when I went into the dressing room, but it's not serious. I'd never seen anything like it", he admitted.

Alexis is doubtful for Sunday's 12pm Getafe game against Real Sociedad at the Coliseum Alfonso Pérez stadium - its twentieth BBVA Liga fixture tie.
