Ter Stegen, Courtois and Handanovic, plus the possibility of Pinto staying on for another year, are the goalkeepers which Barcelona currently has in the frame for next season. Whilst Barça continues to mull over its goalkeeping duo, Pepe Reina is keeping his future close to his chest.
"I don't know where I'll be next year, but my plan is to enjoy this season and do a good job. Then I'll have to go to Liverpool and make a decision. They have to explain to me what their intentions are, but I'm not currently up to speed on all of the possible offers which might come in, because that's a job for my agent."
"My future is here, in Italy, and we'll see what happens in June," he told MARCA a few days before Napoli takes on Roma in the decisive game for a place in the final of the Coppa. "We have to win at home and keep a clean sheet if possible. That is the minimum a team needs to do if it wants to be in with a chance of a trophy.
"We have to come back from 3-2 down, but with the way things were going (Napoli was losing 2-0 at half-time), we would all have taken that in an instant," said the keeper, who has also been the subject of criticism directed at Rafa Benítez's side in recent weeks, with serious problems at the back and between the sticks.
With Ter Stegen signed for next season, it remains to be seen whether Barça will opt for Reina or renew Pinto's contract, which expires in June. It will all be decided in April.
