Club Tijuana Xoloitzcuintles have secured the signing of Argentine central-defender Hernán Darío Pellerano; the brother of current Xolos defensive midfielder Cristian Pellerano. Hernán joins Tijuana from Unión Deportiva Almería in Spain.

Hernán made the request to the Spanish club to be transferred to Tijuana so that he may live out his childhood dream of playing alongside his brother. With the news of the new Pellerano joining the team, as well as the incorporation of Jaime Ayoví who was bought by Club Tijuana six months ago and loaned out; it practically confirms all of the rumors that Paraguayan central-defender Pablo César Aguilar will be joining former Tijuana manager Antonio Mohamed at Club América.

As of now Club Tijuana have six foreign players on their roster: Pablo Aguilar, Hernán Pellerano, Cristian Pellerano, Fidel Martínez, Jaime Ayoví, and Darío Benedetto. Liga MX rules say a team can only have a maximum of five and Aguilar would be the one to be let go.
