Soccerly columnist and analyst Alan Hinton shared his opinions on Manchester United's disastrous home opener defeat to Swansea, the "World Cup blues" and his analysis of Major League Soccer's second half in the latest iteration of "Alan Hinton Unleashed."
The former Wolverhampton, Nottingham Forest, Derby County player and NASL player/manager, was direct in identifying Manchester United's weaknesses after the opening week of the English Premier League season.
Hinton went on to note the poor performances of players suffering from the "The Post World Cup Blues." He called out the U.S. national team members Clint Dempsey, DeAndre Yedlin, Omar Gonzalez, Geoff Cameron and DaMarcus Beasley for their "ordinary" forms since returning from Brazil.
With the Major League Soccer season heading towards the playoffs, the veteran soccer pundit thinks Sporting Kansas City will be the team to be beat for the 2014 MLS Cup.
